Pergolas
Dream it.
Be it a Pressure Treated Pergola or a Custom Design using raw materials. All of our Pergolas have a emphasis on Design and Durability. You will not find any 4x4 posts on our designs, only 6x6 posts will give the ability to have joinery and a sense of strength and stability.
Build it.
Even when using dimensional lumber and limited sizes, we still incorporate elements of Timber Framing into our Pergolas. You will not find 2x8’s bolted to either side of a post in our designs, we laminate lumber to form beams for a more durable look and finish. Pergolas can even be customized with louvered privacy walls and railings can be built into the structure for a more complete look. ( You will find many examples in our Gallery. )
Grow it.
For a more custom look we love to work with raw materials in either the rough or planed. Using either White Pine or Eastern White Cedar (above picture), we can now use full dimension Timbers such as 4x6 and 6x8 Timbers and use Traditional Timber Frame Joinery.
